On Thursday 23 April 2009, Edelman, in partnership with Populus, hosted a breakfast following the Chancellors unveiling of the latest Budget. Andrew Cooper, Founder & Strategic Director of Populus, revealed the findings of the immediate consumer response to the Chancellors statement. Following this, representatives from the world of politics, business and media shared their insight and took part in an audience Q&A session. The panel included: John Cridland CBE, Deputy Director General, CBI John McFall MP, Chair of the Treasury Select Committee Philip Hammond MP, Shadow Chief Secretary to the Treasury Peter Riddell, Political Commentator and Assistant Editor of The Times.
